Today's reality of unemployment or under- employment can no longer be ignored! Once cherished
university graduates, now litter the streets
like street-urchins begging for a source of livelihood.
No apology to our rotten educational system
that mass-produce graduates, whose areas of
discipline are not so needed, or those who are needed
but not so useful, due to the poor quality of education shunned out to them.
Added to it, is a vision-less Government
whose despicable attitude and poor policy,
frustrates the very little who puts wisdom and
will to make the land green. Perhaps, most
worrisome is the endemic poverty now created
into one of the World's potentially
Rich economy! This poverty provides the
template that all other vices develop on.
Already, the attendant corruption,
commotion and confusion have re-defined our
specie as different from other Homo sapiens,
with no good expected from the people of the
Niger area. As a generation, born into the disorderliness, our ultimate task is to change the present situation
and reposition our country's future from all
facets, politically, culturally, spiritually,
economically and so on. But the first shot is
to re-educate ourselves with that which is
needed, and thereby taking exception to
Poverty!
